Andrea' D. Burden, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia, mental health advocate, and Assistant Professor in the graduate counseling program at Albany State University.

As both a clinician and counselor educator, he is committed to promoting mental wellness, personal growth, and meaningful change. My therapeutic approach integrates Adlerian Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), focusing on the whole person, including their thoughts, relationships, life experiences, and sense of belonging.

His clinical experience includes working with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress. As a Christian,  he also welcomes the integration of faith and spirituality into counseling when desired by the client, while respecting individual beliefs and values.  Dr. Burden strives to provide a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment that empowers clients to develop resilience, gain insight, and experience lasting personal growth.
